COVID-19 Update from Vissers Sod Farm Ltd.
To our valued customers,
COVID UPDATE - April 8th, 2021
We’ve had many inquiries as to whether we will be open during this lockdown. We are excited to hear our customers are eager to get growing this season! At this time growers of horticulture products are permitted to stay open at 25% capacity.
We will have curbside pickup spots, a contactless pickup window and delivery options available. You can either call in your order or pop on by our store to purchase at our pickup window. As always we are also here for any lawn advice you may have.
This comes as an effort to do our part in flattening the COVID-19 curve and to ensure the safety of our staff, as well as the safety of our valued customers.
We will still be taking orders for our BigYellowBag of Black Garden Soil and Mulches online on our website at www.bigyellowbag.com, by email at email@example.com, by telephone at 905-263-2126, and also at our designated pickup window. BigYellowBag delivery service is now available. We will deliver your BigYellowBag to the marked X spot on your driveway and will not require a signature.
We are currently in the process of adding online store; you can see our products in Pickup+Delivery page, includes seed, fertilizer, soil and mulches on our website. We will be posting updates on our facebook page regarding product availability and promotions. Our store is open for contactless pickup and zero contact delivery.
In a typical season sod is not ready to be harvested until the weather permits at the end of April, early May. Our expectation is to have sod available by then for delivery and curbside pickup. We will keep you updated as much as possible.
Moving forward we are following the safe social distancing guidelines that the World Health Organization has given with the health and safety of our customers and staff in mind.
As Spring has arrived, we hope you can find the joy and beauty in the outdoors while spending time in your yards and gardens this season. We appreciate your understanding and thank you in advance for your support during this challenging time and supporting local businesses and stay safe.
